Creativity is the uplifting spice of life.
I have been an art teacher and Ceramic Sculptor/potter for the last 35 years. Much of my sculptural work was based on the historical and cultural status of women in world societies. Presently, I sculpt mixed media miniature iconic water towers, everyday wheel thrown functional pottery and unique sculptural pieces.
In 2017, I retired from teaching and my husband and I moved to Greenville, SC. and presently live in Slater- Marietta, SC, overlooking the beautiful Table Rock mountain.
In the spirit of sculpting and ceramics, I create miniature iconic Textile Mill Water Towers so familiar to Greenville, SC. They originally served as the water reservoirs for the cotton mills located there. There is a lot of local history related to these cotton Mills and their history is the inspiring aspects of why I make these towers. Graffiti gives the towers their authentic unique quality, so I decided to put inspirational graffiti on each reservoir or paint whatever graffiti a client may desire.
If you love the water towers, let's work together to create one just for you or a loved one.
I can take orders for pottery if what I have on my sight is sold, or you would like multiples of what I make.
I hope you find the visual journey through my work delightful and refreshing. If you are interested in buying any of my pieces, please contact me through my email and we can process the sale through PayPal invoicing and free usps shipping.
Peace, Christen
